Research as a Hobby investigates the world of creative travel with reading and research as the primary vehicles of exploration. With stationery ephemera from traveler’s journals, stamps, travel receipts, papers and cards collaged on the pages, the zine explores the beginning, middle and end of any research expedition, grounding ourselves in the exercise, exploring imagery and texts from various online and analog reference sources, and making space for a continuation of investigative inquiries.
